Joinery Estimator

Role: Joinery Estimator Company Description Our client is a well-established carpentry and joinery specialist delivering high-quality work in construction. Role Description Estimator is a full-time, hybrid role, with flexibility for project, office and work from home. This role oversees the design process from concept through to production. This role will oversee the door set and architectural hardware design process from project award through to release to manufacture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the door journey process with close coordination with the relevant suppliers and the client''s design team to ensure all third-party certification and performance requirements relating to fire, acoustic and security performance are fully satisfied, documented and demonstratable to the client. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors; leading design reviews; preparing and checking drawings, specifications, and technical documentation; and providing guidance to internal design and project teams. Estimator will collaborate closely with estimating, production, and site teams to resolve design issues, manage design changes, and support efficient project delivery. The role also involves maintaining design standards, implementing best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement in design workflows and tools.
