Our client, a reputable construction contractor with a strong workload across Glasgow and the Central Belt, is currently seeking an experienced Joiner Supervisor (SSSTS) to join their team on a long-term temporary basis.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is comfortable leading from the front. You will be responsible for supervising a team of joiners while remaining actively involved on the tools, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating a team of joiners on site.
• Carrying out joinery works as part of the team.
• Ensuring work is completed to programme and quality standards.
• Promoting and maintaining high levels of health and safety.
• Liaising with site management and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Allocating workloads and supporting operatives on site.
• Monitoring productivity and maintaining quality workmanship throughout the project.

Requirements

• Time-served Joiner with strong all-round joinery experience.
• Valid SSSTS certificate (essential).
• Previous experience supervising joinery teams on construction sites.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• CSCS card required.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
