The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Frame Maker / Joiner to join a busy production team. The role involves constructing wooden frames ready for upholstery, working from job sheets, and ensuring all products meet required standards.

This is a hands-on role within a well-organised factory environment.

Details

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (overtime available)
• Pay: £14–£15 per hour (depending on experience)
• Start: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling wooden frames
• Working with a range of materials including hardwood and softwood
• Using hand tools and woodworking machinery safely
• Following job sheets to meet production targets
• Ensuring all products are built accurately and to a high standard
• Supporting with general production duties when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in joinery, frame making or furniture production
• Good attention to detail while working at pace
• Confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Ability to read and follow job sheets
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work well within a team
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial
