Your responsibilities will include:Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to specificationInstalling doors, windows, staircases, skirting boards, and other fittingsReading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work plansUsing and maintaining hand and power tools safely and effectivelyPerforming general repairs and replacing damaged woodwork or fixturesErecting access equipment and setting up temporary screening as neededMonitoring stock levels and requesting materials in advanceKeeping your work area clean, tidy, and organisedWorking collaboratively with other trades and site teams to ensure efficient project deliveryRecording and reporting job details via mobile technology or job sheetsWhat We''re Looking For:Proven experience in joinery or carpentry, ideally within maintenance or constructionNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent trade qualification) preferredStrong attention to detail and the ability to work from technical drawingsAble to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsBasic IT/smartphone skills to log and record job activityFull UK driving licence and own tools are advantageousA good understanding of Health and Safety procedures and regulationsWhat We Offer:£16.83 per hour with opportunities for additional earning through overtime or bonusPermanent, full-time position with 39 contracted hours per weekLocal work in the North East region based from our Middlesbrough depotSupportive work environment with a focus on safety and qualityTools, equipment, and PPE provided as requiredOpportunities for training and career progressionApply now
