This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner to join the Operational Services Team carrying out maintenance and new works across the council area. The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for completing a range of joinery works, including general maintenance, repairs and installation tasks across council properties and facilities. Key Duties Include:Carrying out joinery maintenance and repair worksCompleting new joinery works as requiredWorking across various council sites within the Lisburn and Castlereagh areaEnsuring all work is completed to a high standardFollowing health and safety procedures and safe working practicesSupporting the wider Operational Services Team with other duties as required Essential Skills and Experience:Previous experience working as a JoinerStrong knowledge of joinery maintenance and repair worksAbility to complete tasks independently and to a high standardGood attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work safely within a team environment Contract Details:Location: Unit 5 Blaris Industrial Estate, Altona Road, LisburnStart Date: 10th August 2026Hours: 37 hours per weekPay Rate: 15.31 per hour ..... full job details .....
