Joiner Carpenter

BRS are currently recruiting for an experienced 1st Fix Joiner to work on a construction project in Wigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality first-fix carpentry and joinery work, working as part of the site team and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Duties and Responsibilities Carrying out 1st fix joinery and carpentry works. Installing timber studwork, partitions and structural timber. Installing floor joists and roof timbers. Fitting door frames, linings and other first-fix components. Measuring, cutting and installing timber accurately. Working from drawings and site specifications. Working alongside other trades and site management. Maintaining a clean and safe working area. Following all site health and safety requirements. Completing work to the required programme and quality standards. Requirements Proven experience as a 1st Fix Joiner on construction sites. Valid CSCS Skilled Worker card. Relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent is preferred. Own tools and PPE. Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
