Producing, assembling and finishing high-quality bespoke furniture in a workshop environment. Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings, specifications and measurements. Selecting, measuring, marking, cutting and shaping a range of materials while minimising waste. Producing components to exact specifications using a variety of hand tools, machinery and equipment. Using both traditional and modern joinery techniques to assemble furniture and components. Applying required finishes, including laminates, to protect materials and achieve a high-quality appearance. Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets required quality standards and project specifications. Carrying out adjustments, repairs and remedial work where necessary. Maintaining tools, machinery and equipment in a clean and safe working condition and reporting faults promptly. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
