Location: Central East Wales
Salary: £25,200 - £26,780 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm
We''re recruiting on behalf of a leading employee-owned training and employability organisation for an enthusiastic Job Coach to join their growing team across Central East Wales.

The RoleAs a Job Coach, you''ll provide personalised, one-to-one support to participants on the Jobs Guarantee Programme, guiding them through every stage of their employment journey- from initial referral through to securing and sustaining long-term employment.
Working with a varied caseload, you''ll help individuals build confidence, develop essential employability skills, and access opportunities that match their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored support throughout their employment journey.
- Make initial contact with referred participants and complete programme inductions.
- Carry out vocational profiling and employability assessments.
- Develop personalised Employment Action Plans (EAPs).
- Deliver coaching focused on:
- Confidence building
- CV writing
- Job search techniques
- Interview preparation
- Workplace expectations and behaviours
- Financial awareness
- Travel planning
- Source and coordinate interview opportunities and obtain employer feedback.
- Maintain regular contact with participants once they enter employment.
- Support individuals to overcome workplace challenges and remain in work.
- Record participant progress and ensure sustained employment outcomes are achieved.
- Meet contractual performance targets relating to engagement and employment outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you''ll have:
- Experience supporting unemployed individuals or disadvantaged groups.
- Experience working within a target-driven environment.
- A background in coaching, mentoring, employability, or careers support.
- Strong motivational and communication skills.
- A good understanding of barriers to employment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
