Provide encouragement, guidance and practical support in a range of learning and work-based environments. Help students build confidence, independence and communication skills. Support students during work experience and vocational activities. Develop positive relationships with students, colleagues, employers and other professionals. Encourage students to overcome barriers and achieve their individual goals. Promote independence while providing appropriate levels of support.
