Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting a Junior Field Engineer to join our clients team based in the Swansea area. Contract: PermanentSalary: 32,000 per annum (overtime arrangements or fixed project bonus apply for week-long projects, so earnings can vary depending on the work undertaken. This will be explained in more detail during the interview process)Hours of work: Successful Engineers will be working away from home for most of the year, often for full working weeks, so candidates must be comfortable with this commitment. This could be in UK, Ireland, Europe and beyondAbout the RoleWorking as part of the HSD /FMP division (for both internal and external customers) to maximise customer satisfaction through technical ability, and efficient Installs and flushing of wide-ranging systems. (Junior Role).Key activities: Site Installs and Flushing: Calibration and Fluid Monitoring. This activity takes place often on remote sites away from Swansea HQ.SkillsPhysically active and able to work in occasional inhospitable environments. Site working. Sound Industrial Engineering Plumbing and Water treatment experience.Understanding of chemical dosing.Experience of project management. (Desirable but not essential)Knowledge of BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidance. This can be supported by Senior Team and will be a learning requirement.Familiar with HSE ACOP L8, specifically HSG274 Part 1, 2 and 3.
