As the Java Software Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to obtain UK SC clearance in this role. You will be involved in:Continued design and development of new and evolving software tools and architecturesInstantiations for future products Skillset/experience required:A background in software engineering, its realisation and system wide impactExperience working in JavaExperience across the entire software development processExperience in other languages such as AdaKnowledge of DDS middleware and Real Time Operating SystemsKnowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508 If this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!
