This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale systems within a complex and highly regulated environment, contributing to services that impact millions of users across the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring BootSupport and enhance batch-based and scheduled processing systemsDiagnose and resolve issues across application, database, and integration layersCollaborate within controlled release environments using GitWork closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutionsCore Skills and ExperienceStrong Java development experience, particularly with Spring BootSolid SQL expertise, including PL/SQL or equivalent procedural database languagesExperience working with batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g. CRON, TWS)Proven ability to troubleshoot across full technology stacksExperience working in Unix/Linux environmentsFamiliarity with version control and structured release processesDesirable ExperienceBackground in large-scale, enterprise, or regulated environmentsExposure to legacy system modernisation programmesPrevious experience within public sector or government ..... full job details .....
