Java Developer

We are working with a small engineering business based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, developing software and hardware for professional audio systems used in live environments, touring, and installation. Due to ongoing development work, they are looking for a Java Developer to join their RandD team, contributing to a core application used in audio control and system configuration. In this hybrid Java Developer role, you will:Work on a complex desktop application written in JavaDevelop new features while maintaining an existing production platformWork on communication between software and external hardware devicesTake ownership of areas of the application as you build knowledge of the system The ideal Java Developer will have experience in:Commercial Java developmentDesktop applications interfacing with hardware systemsNetwork protocolsAudio or DSP environments The Java Developer role offers up to 60k depending on experience.
