Java / Scala Developer — Hybrid, London. 2-3 days on site at client office. 6 months + extension. Salary details: £(Apply online only) p/d inside IR35.Responsibilities
Design and build eTrading solutions for market connectivity, price distribution, and RFQ engines.Collaborate with trading desks, quants, and strategists for L3 production support and new solution design.Enhance and maintain core Credit eTrading systems while contributing to cross-FICC initiatives.Required Skills
Strong Java / Spring development background.Proven experience building FIX trading solutions.Hands-on experience with eTrading workflows in Credit or Rates.Strong debugging and profiling skills across JDK languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin, Clojure).Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven, Gradle, SBT, Jenkins).Experience with Unix/Linux environments, including process and network diagnostics.Exposure to messaging, monitoring, and container orchestration (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.).Desirable Skills and Experience
