We are recruiting for a well-established, family-owned electrical installation company based in Telford, delivering high-quality electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Due to continued growth, we re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our close-knit team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you ll be responsible for producing compliant, practical, and cost-effective electrical designs from concept through to completion. You ll work closely with our installation teams, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. Key responsibilities include: Designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects Producing drawings, schematics, and specifications Ensuring designs comply with current regulations and standards (BS 7671, etc.) Carrying out calculations (load, fault levels, cable sizing, lighting, etc.) Providing technical support to site teams Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders As an Electrical Design Engineer, you ll be responsible for producing compliant, practical, and cost-effective electrical designs from concept through to completion.
