Job Opportunity: iTrent Business Analyst
Location: South Tyneside, NE33
Salary: Band 8 - Competitive, up to -48,226 per annum
Fixed Term until November 2026

We''re seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support the transformation of HR and Payroll services through the implementation of the iTrent system. This role is central to modernising internal processes, improving service delivery, and driving value for money across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business process reviews and service design projects
- Map and analyse current and future workflows across HR and Payroll
- Engage stakeholders to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
- Support system implementation, user acceptance testing, and change delivery
- Ensure compliance with data protection and information governance standards
- Contribute to wider organisational transformation initiatives

What We''re Looking For:

Essential:
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience in systems/business management
* Substantial experience in business analysis and service design
* Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll processes
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Confidence with process mapping tools and data analysis
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
* Commitment to equality, diversity, and continuous improvement

Desirable:
* Business analysis qualification
* Experience in local/central government or NHS
* Familiarity with iTrent system
* Understanding of emerging technologies and digital inclusion
* Experience in user research and change projects
