ITAD Technician

Location: Boston Full-time Permanent Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience)About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior ITAD Technician to join a growing technology-focused business. This role will involve leading day-to-day IT asset disposition (ITAD) operations, ensuring secure and compliant handling of IT equipment, and driving efficiency across processing workflows.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of IT hardware and experience supervising or mentoring a team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of ITAD techniciansOversee secure handling, data wiping, and disposal of IT assetsEnsure compliance with data security standards and environmental regulationsMonitor workflow, productivity, and quality controlTrain, mentor, and develop team membersMaintain accurate records of processed equipment and reportingWork closely with internal teams to improve processes and efficienciesEnsure all health and safety procedures are followedSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in ITAD, IT hardware processing, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, mobiles, servers, networking)Experience with data destruction or sanitisation standards (e.g. Blancco, ADISA or similar)Previous experience leading or supervising a teamStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentDesirableRelevant IT or data security certificationsExperience ..... full job details .....
