This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys providing technical support in a busy school environment. You''ll play a key role in ensuring staff and pupils have access to reliable IT systems and equipment to support teaching and learning. The Role As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for: Providing first and second-line IT support to staff and students. Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and network equipment. Setting up laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and other ICT equipment. Managing user accounts, passwords and permissions. Supporting classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards and AV equipment. Assisting with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems and school management software. Maintaining accurate IT asset records and documentation. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Supporting cyber security and data protection procedures. Liaising with external IT providers where required.
