IT Technician

Overview

The IT Technician will play a key role in supporting the technology needs of a not-for-profit organisation. This temporary position is based on the outskirts of Liverpool.Responsibilities

Provide 1st line support on siteHelp set up IT systems and equipmentProvide technical support to staff, ensuring IT systems run efficientlyDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptlyInstall, configure, and maintain computer systems and networksAssist with IT-related projects to improve organisational efficiencyMonitor IT systems to identify and address potential issues proactivelyMaintain accurate records of IT equipment and software licencesEnsure compliance with data security and privacy protocolsProvide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and toolsProfile

A successful IT Technician should have:An enhanced DBSExperience of first line supportExperience in troubleshooting hardware and software issuesKnowledge of network configuration and maintenanceFamiliarity with IT security practices and data protection regulationsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailJob Offer
