IT Technician

IT Technician Location: AltrinchamSalary: £30,000Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm We''re looking for an experienced IT Technician to join a busy technical team, supporting the configuration, testing, deployment and troubleshooting of a wide range of equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working across hardware, networking and software, and who is confident supporting both internal engineering teams and customers. The Role As an IT Technician, you''ll be responsible for preparing and configuring equipment for technical deployments, carrying out testing and diagnostics, and providing technical support where required. Your responsibilities will include: Configuring and testing a range of IT hardware, including tablets, laptops, kiosks, tills, customer display units, switches, routers and servers Troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues and carrying out diagnostics Configuring networks, servers, switches and computer hardware Supporting the build and optimisation of IT solutions Producing accurate and clear technical documentation Managing your own workload in line with project schedules and deadlines Carrying out quality control checks to ensure equipment meets required standards Working closely with engineering teams during technical deployments Providing remote technical support where required Supporting the wider technical team, including occasional visits to ..... full job details .....
