IT Team Lead
Hiring for an experienced Level 2 Onsite IT Lead Technician to become the senior technical presence at a dedicated school site in Stevenage. This is a hands-on role combining 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support with responsibility for mentoring junior technicians, maintaining IT infrastructure and ensuring a first-class service for both staff and students.You''ll work closely with the Technical Account Manager and wider Managed Services team, acting as the main onsite technical contact while delivering high-quality support, driving continuous improvements and leading small IT projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1st, 2nd and initial 3rd line IT support across hardware, software and network infrastructure.Act as the senior onsite technical lead and primary point of contact for school staff.Mentor and support Level 1 Technicians and Apprentices.Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and networking issues.Support classroom technology, AV equipment and end-user devices.Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues including switches, Wi-Fi, cabling and network connectivity.Manage and prioritise support tickets, ensuring SLA targets are met.Maintain accurate documentation, asset registers, user accounts and change records.Deliver approved technical changes and small onsite IT projects.Work closely with internal technical teams, third-party suppliers and stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.Skills and ExperienceEssentialPrevious experience in a ..... full job details .....
