IT Systems Specialist

Our IT team is growing and we are looking for a new IT Systems Specialist to join us!Looking for a role where you can combine infrastructure expertise, cloud technologies and SQL administration? This IT Systems Specialist role offers the opportunity to provide advanced technical support while developing and maintaining core systems, networks and integrations across a complex environment.We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.A lot of our roles come with options around home and office flexible working, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and other benefits.RequirementsOutline of key responsibilities Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the organisation''s physical and virtual server environment across on-premise and cloud platformsIdentify opportunities for system improvements and recommend upgrades or enhancements to ensure technology remains secure, modern and efficientDeploy and manage cloud infrastructure components, ensuring they are secure, high-performing and cost-effectiveWork closely with IT security colleagues to identify infrastructure risks and implement appropriate remediation and preventative measuresConfigure and maintain network infrastructure to ensure ..... full job details .....
