IT Systems Engineer£38,000 Our Client are a leading British Manufacturer within the Materials Handling sector. Currently recruiting for a IT Systems Engineer.Hours of work: 7.00am to 4:00pm (30 Minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays.Primary Location: StourportThe Role:Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network infrastructure Provide technical support to users across the organisation Monitor system performance and resolve hardware, software, and network issues Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 environments Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V Assist with cybersecurity measures including patching, antivirus, backups, and access controls Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and support procedures Support cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments Work with external suppliers and vendors where required Participate in IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and system deploymentsAdhering to all relevant ISO processes and policiesThe role also includes a number of other smaller administrative and coordination tasksThe Candidate:Previous experience in an IT Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role Strong knowledge of: Windows Server environments Active Directory and Group Policy Microsoft 365 administration Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, VPNs) Virtualisation technologies Experience with backup and disaster ..... full job details .....
