We are seeking a System Administrator to work collaboratively with various business teams to ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of all IT systems.Day-to-Day of the Role:Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance: Maintain and administer servers, storage systems, and core infrastructure to ensure stability, availability, and performance.Server and Virtualisation Management: Manage virtual environments, configure virtual machines, and maintain host clusters.Networking and Connectivity: Support and troubleshoot network issues, maintain network documentation, and collaborate on network upgrades.Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer cloud platforms, manage cloud-based servers, and implement cloud governance policies.Backup, Storage and Disaster Recovery: Maintain backup systems, test disaster recovery procedures, and manage storage solutions.Security and Compliance: Implement security measures, monitor vulnerabilities, and support compliance audits.Automation and Scripting: Use PowerShell to automate tasks and improve processes.Incident, Problem and Change Management: Serve as an escalation point for infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in change management processes.Hardware and Resource Management: Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure assets and ensure proper configuration of physical systems.Project Delivery and Continuous Improvement: ..... full job details .....
