Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and technically minded-IT Support Technician-to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a varied IT support environment, working with a broad range of technologies and directly supporting business customers.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to a growing customer base, dealing with faults and queries across-servers, desktop computers, laptops, networking, internet connectivity, telephony, printers and associated peripherals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide-1st and 2nd line IT support-to customers via telephone, email, remote access and on-site.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across-desktops, laptops, servers, Microsoft 365, printers and peripherals.
  • Install, configure and maintain-hardware, software and network equipment, including routers, switches and Wi-Fi.
  • Assist with-user accounts, permissions, backups, security and general systems administration.
  • Support customer-IT installations, upgrades and technical projects-through to completion.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and escalate complex issues where required.
  • Maintain accurate-service desk records, documentation and customer updates.
  • Deliver a high standard of-customer service, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
  • Prioritise workloads effectively while working both independently and as part of a technical team.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in an-IT support/helpdesk or technical support role, ideally within an-MSP or customer-focused IT environment.
  • Good working knowledge of-Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software and networking.
  • Practical experience troubleshooting-desktops, laptops, servers, printers and network connectivity.
  • Understanding of-TCP/IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi and general network infrastructure.
  • Experience with-user accounts, permissions, backups and basic system administration.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Excellent-customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests, prioritise workloads and maintain accurate records.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine willingness to-learn and develop technically.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence-and willingness to travel to customer sites where required.
