IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician // 2nd Line // Birmingham // -20-23/hour (Umbrella) // up to 5 months

REED Technology are working with a client who are looking for someone to join a dynamic team as a Desk Side & Technology Support Analyst based in Birmingham. This contract offers a stable and rewarding opportunity for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a hands-on support environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and resolve 2nd line incidents and requests via ServiceNow
* Deploy and support IT hardware across offices/sites
* Troubleshoot hardware, software & telephony issues
* Support office moves, project setups, and AV/conference room tech
* Maintain IT stock rooms and manage asset lifecycle
* Act as an escalation point for local and regional IT issues

Experience required
* Experience in corporate IT support
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, and telephony systems
* Good knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
* Valid UK driving license (travel to regional sites required)

Desirable:
* Microsoft Certifications / ITIL Foundation
* Experience with SLAs and reporting
* Comfortable supporting multiple locations and working independently
