We are working with a large public body to recruit a dedicated ICT Support Officer to join their team. Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and implementing operating systems, applications, and software updates. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT support and administration, particularly within a Microsoft-based IT estate.Key ResponsibilitiesThe ICT Support Officer will be responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting the IT hardware estate, including desktops, laptops, MFDs, scanners, servers, and communication devices. They will assist in managing the server estate across all networks and provide Microsoft Active Directory NW account management. The role involves contributing to the creation and management of group policy settings, preparing IT health checks, and implementing recommendations.Additionally, the officer will handle ICT security issues, deliver IT helpdesk support, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in project teams and working groups.
