IT Support Engineer

IT Technician Minimum 6 months £180 per day (Umbrella)Liverpool - 5 days on-sitePlease note for this role you will need to have a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service A school in Liverpool is on lookout for an IT Technician to provide IT Support services to the Liverpool based academies. This is a minimum 6 month contract with potential for further extension. For this role, you will need to have a valid and enhanced DBS on the update service as they are looking for someone to start immediately.Main duties and responsibilities:Travel between Trust Academies to provide IT supportEnsure the smooth running of ICT systems to facilitate teaching, learning, administration and leadershipTo provide remote and face to face technical support in line with the Academy''s ICT support service definitionPerform routine maintenance tasks for user accounts; run basic network monitoring reports and utilitiesSet up hardware and perform basic checking of networked PCs, including diagnosis of networking/Server/Proxy issuesDetect, diagnose and resolve PC, peripheral and application errorsRoll out apps via the MDMInstall new hardware, repair current hardware and reload software on desktops/laptops following release management proceduresThe following skills and experience will be essential:An IT technical backgroundFamiliarity with networking concepts, protocols and configurationsAbility to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues effectivelyEvidence of being a good ..... full job details .....
