IT Support Engineer

A well-established international manufacturing organisation is looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to its UK IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on technical role covering server support and some infrastructure, security, Microsoft technologies and end-user computing within a growing business.

You''ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation''s IT environment, working across:

• Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy)
• Server, storage, backup and monitoring infrastructure
• Server patching, security hardening and vulnerability remediation
• Virtualisation technologies (VMware/vSphere)
• Desktop and laptop support
• Endpoint management and device support
• Backup and disaster recovery processes
• Technical documentation and asset management
• BAU support and ticket resolution within agreed service levels.

If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LET''S TALK!

• Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Experience with server administration and infrastructure support
• VMware / vSphere / ESXi
• Veeam Backup & Replication is advantageous but not essential.
• Multi-site or remote user support
• Working with international IT teams
