IT Support Engineer (1st / 2nd Line - On-Site)Location: Great Barford Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annumWorking Hours: 06:00 - 14:30, Monday to FridayI am working on behalf of my Client who are seeking an experienced 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to operate as an on-site (in-plant) engineer within one of our key customer environments.This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will act as the primary IT presence on-site, supporting daily operations across a fast-paced distribution and office setting. You will work closely with end users, third-party vendors, and the central service desk to ensure smooth and efficient IT service delivery across three locations.Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support (1st / 2nd Line)Deliver on-site IT support to office, workshop, and warehouse usersDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issuesEscalate complex incidents to 3rd line teams or external vendors where necessaryMaintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all timesApplications and Systems SupportProvide support for the Syrinx applicationMaintain and support Terminal Server / RDS environments (used for Sage)Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)Support and maintain on-premises Windows Server environmentsInfrastructure and NetworkingProvide 1st and 2nd line support for network infrastructure (switches, cabling, connectivity)Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues and basic firewall/network problemsLiaise with ISPs and ..... full job details .....
