IT Specialist - 1st/2nd Line SupportEast Kilbride, Glasgow On-site Permanent 28,000+ excellent benefitsWe are recruiting an IT Specialist (2nd Line Support) to provide hands-on technical support across a busy manufacturing site in Scunthorpe.This role is ideal for an experienced IT Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Analyst with strong Microsoft and networking knowledge who enjoys resolving incidents, supporting infrastructure, and delivering excellent customer service.The RoleAs part of the IT team, you will:Provide 1st and 2nd Line IT Support to site usersInvestigate and resolve issues across Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019Support Cisco switching, WiFi and network connectivity (DNS, DHCP, NAT, Group Policy)Maintain and administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 / Office 365Support backup technologies and infrastructure systemsTroubleshoot VOIP, printers, copiers and end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, phones)Manage tickets via Jira Service Desk, ensuring SLAs are metEscalate complex issues where requiredWhat We''re Looking ForProven experience in 2nd Line Support / IT Support Engineer roleStrong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server environmentsExperience with Cisco switching or networking (CCNA / Network+ desirable)Understanding of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and core infrastructure technologiesExperience supporting hardware, printers and user devicesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsDesirableFirewall technologiesHyperconverged ..... full job details .....
