IT Service Manager

Due to further investment, they are now recruiting for an experienced IT Service Manager, qualified in ITIL, to take responsibility for vendor management as they implement a range of exciting services.

Description

• As the IT Service Manager, you will have a diverse array of responsibilities, with a central focus on vendor management.
• You will have ownership of a range of cutting-edge services that are being delivered into the organisation.
• The environment is ITIL-based, so you will be managing the delivery of services across ITIL methodologies.
• The role will be standalone to begin with, and there will be no initial people-management responsibilities, but you will likely grow to take on these responsibilities over time.
• Stakeholder management will be a regular part of the role, and you will be managing relationships with both the external supplier, and also key internal users.
• You will monitor and improve service performance using data-driven insights, whilst also ensuring compliance with public sector standards and policies.

Profile

As the successful candidate for the IT Service Manager vacancy you will have the following experience:

• A minimum of 3 years professional experience in a similar IT Service Manager / IT Service Delivery role.
• Full cycle service management and asset management.
• Excellent vendor management skills, and the ability to partner effectively with external suppliers.
• Strong service implementation skills, and a proven track-record in implementation.
• ITIL certification(s).
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.

Job Offer

• -55,000 - -60,000 starting salary.
• Double-digit public sector pension.
• Flexibility to be fully remote based.
