IT Service Delivery Manager

Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic company based in the Watford area, this well established company have an exciting opportunity for a IT Service Delivery Manager to join their team. This opportunity will be responsible for the relationship between IT and the wider business, managing vendor relationships and leading a team of 3-4. The position will report directly into the Head of IT and Projects, working alongside the Data Manager and PMO Manager. The suitable candidate will be a strong people manager, with strong communication skills and at levels, with previous experience of IT Service Delivery.Salary - 55,000 - 65,000 plus great benefits This will be a hybrid working position - 3 days in the Watford office and 2 from home Some of the duties will include:Lead and develop a team of 3-4, providing day-to-day direction, workload management, performance support and career developmentWork with the Technical Governance Forum to promote best practice across development, coding standards, testing, documentation and technical deliveryAct as the main operational point of contact between IT and the wider business, managing escalations, resolving queries and building strong stakeholder relationshipsCommunicate IT activity, incidents, changes and planned downtime clearly and proactively across the businessManage relationships with IT vendors and third-party suppliers, ensuring SLAs, contracts and service performance are effectively managedOwn ..... full job details .....
