IT Repair TechnicianLocation: Rugby Salary: £14.87 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday Contract: Temporary to PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an IT Workshop Technician to join a well-established and leading IT services provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and working hands-on with technology.The role is initially offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.The RoleAs an IT Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for fault finding, repairing and testing a variety of IT equipment. This will include laptops, PCs, printers and point-of-sale systems.Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing faults and carrying out hardware repairsRepairing and testing laptops, PCs, desktops and workstationsWorking with printers and point-of-sale equipmentCarrying out break-fix repairs and identifying root causesTesting equipment to ensure it meets the required quality standardsFollowing workshop procedures and health and safety/ESD requirementsAccurately completing paperwork and updating internal systemsManaging your own workload and prioritising repairs effectivelyWorking to deadlines and agreed service levelsLiaising with senior engineers regarding priorities and workloadsSupporting colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and best practiceKeeping your technical knowledge up to date as ..... full job details .....
