IT Project Manager

We are recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of a Fintech business based in St Albans. The successful candidate will lead a team through the project lifecycle by planning, scheduling and tracking a project plan on assigned projects. They will ensure that bespoke software solutions are delivered to clients within the timescales required and to the quality expected, making sure all deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Key Responsibilities Working closely with external client Project Managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and project scope. Leading Business Requirements gathering and workshops, ensuring completion of as-is and to-be documentation. Working with business analysts and developers to ensure that optimum fit solutions are designed and BRD and functional solution specifications are documented. Defining Project Plans covering key deliverables, resource requirements, budget and work plan using appropriate tools and techniques. Advising the IT Programme and Project Manager of significant departures from the agreed plans. Working with the IT Programme and Project Manager and Head of IT to agree the scheduling of all development, testing and releases to production. Managing, monitoring and motivating the cross functional teams assigned to the project.
