Project Manager - 2 month contractAkkodis are currently recruiting for Project Manager on a contract basis to work with a leading service provider in Sheffield on a number of business critical IT Projects. This will be a 2 month contract with potential extensions. The RoleThe Project Manager will work closely with the Head of IT and wider business stakeholders and be instrumental in leading and delivering mission-critical IT programmes.The ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of projects within the business, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standardsCollaborate with strategic partners and stakeholders to align project goals with the overall vision of the business.Manage project documentation, timelines, and risk assessments, leveraging agile methodologiesConduct regular status updates, report progress to senior management, and address any challenges proactivelyApply strategic planning to project governance, incorporating robust risk and issue managementLead and manage change initiatives and disaster recovery strategies as part of overall project controlEnsure strong budget control and adherence to financial objectives The RequirementsProven track record of managing complex projects.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with government or public sector clients.Proven experience of successfully delivering ..... full job details .....
