IT Project Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a Digital Services team, leading the delivery of large-scale and complex projects across a busy Change and Capital Programme. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of large-scale and complex projects from initiation through to completion. Develop project proposals, agreeing clear objectives, scope and deliverables. Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documents and comprehensive project plans. Monitor project progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting, including RAG status updates. Identify, manage and monitor project risks, issues, decisions and actions, maintaining accurate RAID logs. Coordinate project teams, stakeholders and work packages to ensure delivery remains on schedule. Lead project boards, working groups and workshops, effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders. Analyse complex information and identify solutions to unblock issues and manage project risks. Lead service improvement, redesign and change initiatives, supporting the implementation of new ways of working. Manage project resources and delegated budgets, identifying and addressing potential underspends or overspends. You will ideally have: Experience applying recognised project management methodologies. Experience delivering significant change projects and implementing new systems, services or processes. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
