IT Project Engineer

Location: Remote - 1-2 days in the office in Fareham (with travel to customer sites across the UK) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We''re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a busy projects team delivering infrastructure and networking solutions for customers across the UK. This is a hands-on role where you''ll be involved in the full project lifecycle, from initial customer meetings and technical design through to implementation, testing and final handover. You''ll work with a broad range of technologies across server, storage, networking, wireless and security environments. The role is predominantly remote, although regular travel to customer sites will be required for project work. What you''ll be doing Delivering IT infrastructure projects on-site and remotely Installing and configuring servers, virtualisation platforms, networking and security solutions Carrying out technical audits and customer site surveys Producing technical documentation and solution designs Supporting pre-sales activities and providing technical input during customer discussions Providing third-line support and technical escalation when required Working closely with customers to ensure successful project delivery What we''re looking for Strong experience delivering infrastructure projects Good knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V and SCCM Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy administration Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions ..... full job details .....
