IT Platforms Technician

We are recruiting an IT Platforms technician for a specialist infrastructure and asset management organisation that operates across the UK. Contract type: permanent, full time.What you''ll be doingOwn the technical health of the organisation''s Microsoft 365 estate - including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Defender - monitoring performance, managing alerts and driving proactive improvements.Serve as the primary technical point of contact for third-party vendors and managed service providers, ensuring solutions are aligned to business requirements and delivered to a high standard.Lead the response to major incidents, carrying out root cause analysis, coordinating internal and external teams, and putting in place measures to prevent recurrence.Maintain and develop identity and access management solutions, including SSO, MFA and automated provisioning, alongside the organisation''s security, governance and compliance frameworks.What you need to bringDeep working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, ..... full job details .....
