IT Operations Manager (Infrastructure, Networks and Security)

Job Responsibilities The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of firm''s IT infrastructure to ensure systems, networks, and services are reliable and secure. Support the IT Director with the implementation of the firms IT Strategies Manage, maintain and optimise the firm''s on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. Oversee backup and system security operations in accordance with the firm''s policies. Manage the Cyber Essential Plus accreditation renewals and help the firm with audits for ISO27001 compliance. Identify and manage operational risks Provide hands-on support and participate in the out-of-hours support rota as required Assist the IT Director with the management of IT vendors, contracts, and software licenses Prepare monthly management reports of team/service activities, tasks, and operational metrics Skills Required Previous experience as an IT Operations Manager, covering Infrastructure, Networks andamp; Security. Experience supporting andamp; managing M365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive), O365, SQL, Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware, Azure, Network Protocols, Enterprise Backup, Replication and Business Continuity and Disaster recovery. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations Strong understanding of Data Security and Cyber Security basics This role requires someone fully onsite and would suit a hands-on operations manager. ..... full job details .....
