We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Network Specialist based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time temporary basis. Summary of the IT Network Specialist role Salary: £18.90 per hour Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Temporary until 30.06.26Hours: 37 hour working week Responsibilities of the IT Network Specialist Lead in the installations, configuration and administration of active network hardwareCarry out network monitoring and produce reports on availability and compliancePlay a key role in efforts to build, optimise and modernise the internal networkLead network problem escalation and resolutionRespond to service desk requests in a timely and efficient mannerSupport with developing policies and proceduresMaintain adequate and organised stocksReport any unsafe equipment or practices Requirements for a successful IT Network Specialist Enhanced DBSLevel 5 qualification in relevant computing field or networking qualificationStrong understanding of IP routing concepts and core network architectureStrong understanding of enterprise level firewall technology and network security best practicesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work effectively on own initiativeAttention to detail About Allstaff RecruitmentWe re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
