Overview

An established professional services firm is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to oversee its IT infrastructure, systems, and support across multiple office locations. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and operational delivery, with occasional travel between sites.Location:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (with flexibility for out-of-hours support)Salary:

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and securityManage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutionsMaintain and support the firm’s case management system (e.g., Partner for Windows or similar)Ensure optimal performance, availability, and integrity of all IT systems and networksOversee software licensing, system upgrades, and data backupsProvide direct support for hardware and software issues across the organisationDeliver training and guidance to staff on core systems and toolsAct as the primary contact for IT-related queries and incidentsMonitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measuresEnsure compliance with GDPR and relevant industry regulationsMaintain disaster recovery and business continuity plansManage relationships with third-party vendors and service providersLead IT projects including migrations, rollouts, and infrastructure improvementsManage and maintain company websitesSet up IT access and provide onboarding support for new staffPerform other IT-related duties as requiredRequired Skills and Experience

Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role within a professional services or legal environmentStrong working knowledge of legal case management systems (e.g., Partner for Windows)Solid understanding of networks, servers, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity protocolsExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skillsAbility to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible languageStrong organisational and leadership capabilitiesJob Types
