Fruition Group is recruiting for an IT Manager on behalf of a highly regarded organisation. The role is hands-on, will manage a team of 2, and involves working with colleagues across the wider group. Develop and implement the annual IT strategy in alignment with company goals.Identify opportunities for innovation, digital transformation, and process improvement across departments.Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.Own and manage the annual IT budget, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting.Ensure all IT operations meet the minimum requirements set by Group, including Technical Security Audit (based on CIS security controls) and NIST Frameworks.Development and review of IT policies and procedures.Lead internal and external audits.Oversee the performance, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user devices.Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.Manage service desk operations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.Act as the primary liaison between the company and Group IT Director.Represent the IT function in senior leadership meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.Required Skill and Experience
Experience of working within IT support from 1st line through to 3rd line.Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 to drive the platform forward (Teams, SharePoint, etc.).Good knowledge of the security features of 365 (Entra/Azure AD).Understanding the importance of Identity Threat Management.Experience with security tools such as SentinelOne, Mimecast, or CrowdStrike.Experience in using third-party SOC provision.Understanding of Cyber Essentials Plus, CIS audits, and NIST2 frameworks.Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, ITIL practices, and IT governance.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Hands-on experience with servers, PCs, and networking.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with all levels of the business.Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.Relevant qualifications (e.g. CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft Certified) would be desirable.Salary: Up to £60,000 + package.
