IT Manager

Agilis Search is partnering with a true people-first business in Ipswich who are looking for an IT Manager to join them on a permanent basis to lead and develop a small team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong technical background, proven people management skills and experience operating in a structured environment. As IT Manager in this values-led organisation, will lead the day-to-day support and enhancement of core technology systems, act as an escalation point for complex issues, work closely with suppliers and stakeholders, and help drive change and improvement across entire business. Key requirementsStrong technical understanding of IT systems, infrastructure and Microsoft environmentsStrong knowledge of network and associated security principalsExperience leading, developing and motivating a small teamComfortable working with compliance and audits when requiredStrong stakeholder skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-IT audiencesSelf-starter who takes ownership, manages priorities well and delivers to deadlinesExperience of reporting, supplier management and service improvementAble to identify, explore and exploit opportunities for service improvementEffectively prioritise own and team requests/workload to ensure that they are dealt with in order of priorityEnjoys project delivery and building strong working relationships across the wider businessPersonal styleOur client is looking for someone who is proactive, ..... full job details .....
