IT Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel and Security)

On behalf of UKAEA (UK Atomic Energy Authority) we are looking for a IT Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel andamp; Security) INSIDE IR35 for a 6 months contract based Abingdon Hybrid. SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing andamp; eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active SC clearance. As a IT Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel andamp; Security), your main responsibilities will be:. Design, build, configure, harden, and deploy secure infrastructure solutions.. Administer and support Windows Server and core Wintel services.. Manage and maintain Active Directory, including users, groups, OU structures, and authentication services.. Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and operational standards..
