IT Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Warrington, Cheshire (hybrid - up to 3 days in the office, 2 from home)In this role, you''ll be responsible for delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects. You''ll play a key role in shaping and supporting both cloud and on-premise environments, working closely with teams across the business. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working across multiple technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of technical delivery across a range of infrastructure projectsWork closely with internal teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable and aligned to business needsAct as a senior point of contact for infrastructure-related queries and escalationsContribute to the development of technical standards, processes and best practicesSupport ongoing improvements across the infrastructure estateAssist with troubleshooting complex issues and provide root cause analysisEsseential Skills and ExperienceProven experience delivering infrastructure projects in a mid-to-large scale environmentStrong background across Microsoft infrastructure and hybrid environmentsExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft AzureSolid understanding of virtualisation technologies (eg VMware or Hyper-V)Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with Scripting and automation (eg PowerShell)Desirbale Skills and ExperienceExperience ..... full job details .....
