IT Infrastructure Engineer

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join Bradford Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Provide 2nd/3rd line support across infrastructure and end-user environments Support, maintain and improve IT systems to meet agreed service levels Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including root cause analysis Work within ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management) Monitor system performance and contribute to service improvements Maintain accurate service documentation and use ITSM tools effectively Collaborate with colleagues and third-party suppliers to resolve issues Support infrastructure projects, upgrades and implementations Requirements: Experience working in an IT service operations or infrastructure environment Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good understanding of ITIL principles and service management processes Experience supporting Windows environments and Active Directory Exposure to virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware or Hyper-V) Location - This role is fully office based in Bradford City Centre Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to ..... full job details .....
