IT Infrastructure Architect

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Information Technology department for an IT Infrastructure Architect. This role offers the opportunity to shape the organisation''s technology landscape, working with business leaders and the Technology Senior Leadership Team to align our infrastructure strategy and capabilities with current and future business objectives. Role Overview: The IT Infrastructure Architect will provide architectural oversight and governance across the design, implementation and continual improvement of reusable, scalable and secure IT services. You will help define our IT strategy, principles and standards, while ensuring that proposed technology solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with business and customer goals. The role will also assess current and emerging technologies, translating business requirements into practical infrastructure designs and proposals. Responsibilities include: Supporting the Technology Senior Leadership Team and wider business management teams in the design and deployment of IT services and infrastructure. Helping to define and publish the organisation''s IT strategy. Participating in design authority reviews to ensure that proposed solutions are technically appropriate and fit for purpose. Developing and maintaining IT architecture principles, standards and design-decision libraries. Providing governance to maintain alignment between technology, business objectives and customer needs.
