IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer Sutton Coldfield - £45,000 - Full-time onsite SF Technology is recruiting an IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer for a growing, multi-site organisation undergoing a major programme of infrastructure investment and modernisation. This is not a 1st or 2nd line support position. You''ll join a centralised IT function and take hands-on responsibility for the infrastructure supporting sites across the UK and internationally. The role has a particularly strong focus on Palo Alto firewalls and network switching, alongside Windows Server, virtualisation, storage and backup technologies. You''ll also contribute to major projects involving new-site integrations, infrastructure upgrades and the organisation''s migration away from VMware. Key responsibilities: Administering and supporting Palo Alto firewalls Managing switches, VLANs and wider network infrastructure Supporting Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy Managing Hyper-V and VMware environments Administering HPE servers, storage and backup platforms Supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure services Monitoring infrastructure performance, resilience and security Resolving complex infrastructure incidents and escalations Supporting new-site integrations, migrations and infrastructure projects Maintaining technical documentation and infrastructure standards Working closely with service delivery, security, ERP and development teams What we''re looking for: Strong ..... full job details .....
