IT Infrastructure and Azure Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure and Azure Specialist to take ownership of a complex hybrid technology environment spanning Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, endpoint management and traditional on-premises infrastructure. This is not a pure Azure cloud role. You will need strong, hands-on Azure experience, but you must also be comfortable managing Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualisation, storage, backup and end user computing platforms. Working closely with the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will help maintain the security, availability and performance of the infrastructure estate while supporting cloud migration, technology refresh, security uplift and business growth projects. Key responsibilities Manage and improve a hybrid estate spanning Azure, Microsoft 365 and on-premises infrastructure. Administer Azure compute, storage, networking and Entra ID. Support Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware or Hyper-V environments. Manage endpoint provisioning, compliance and patching through Microsoft Intune. Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business-continuity capabilities. Own escalated infrastructure incidents through to resolution and root-cause analysis. Address vulnerabilities, patching requirements, access controls and infrastructure hardening.
